Resistance work to build muscle.

Strength classes target your muscles through resistance work—either using your body weight or the assistance of props such as hand weights or resistance bands. Classes may focus on a particular muscle group or several at once and can range from static isometric holds to dynamic functional movement training.

This Strength series tones and activates your arms and abs with Arm Dancing, free weight exercises, All Fours with weights, Planks, and core work with a Pilates ball. You’ll focus on form and activate your mind-body connection to get the most out of each move. This class previously aired on January 22, 2024.

Strengthen your running game in this workout that's perfect for the same day as a run or the day before. You'll focus on activating the posterior chain and improving posture, plus more exercises to optimize running. Move steadily through hip mobility work, Shoulder Bridge, Forearm Plank, Bent Over Rows, Lunge Jacks, and ISO Split Lunges. Dumbbells are optional. This class previously aired on January 19, 2024.

This higher-level Strength class isolates your glutes, working them in multiple planes of motion. Move through a steady sequence with Glute Bridge, Lateral Kicks, and more lower-body-focused exercises with a resistance loop to finish with a proper burn. Practice Bicep Curls, Kickbacks, and Overhead Tricep moves while learning how to correct common errors in simple exercises and get the most out of your work. Ridge’s 5-class Power Strength Series is designed to build physical power, each class targeting one area and culminating with a full-body class.
